Formerly known as PIB – Prosperity Investment Bank (established in August 2007), the Bank was restructured and renamed as Bank for Investment and Development of Cambodia Plc. (BIDC), then officially came into operation under the Operation License No. B7.09.148 issued by the National Bank of Cambodia on August 14th, 2009. BIDC’s a subsidiary of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), which is the largest commercial bank in Vietnam with nearly 65 years of business operations there.
